Tripcon Engineering Headstock & Tailstock Manipulators/Positioners are designed for tilt applications to weld and assembly long and large weldments in many different application fields. Where the part length varies and requires precision due to a rigid part and/or fixture.
Designed for assembly, material handling and welding applications, Head- stock & Tailstock elevating and tilt manipulators/positioners are available with variations to the head and tailstock columns, such as fixed fixed, fixed adjustable, fixed mobile, and fully portable style options.
These special units are designed according to the requirement of user’s specification and have powered tilting 3600 in either clockwise or anticlock- wise features positioning the work-piece at ideal position for operation having capacity ranging from 500 kgs up to 30 ton.
The revolve unit is driven by motor attached to a precise speed-reducer and VFD to suit customers requirement. These machines can be used with various manual or auto welding coupled with manual or auto- mated clamping and can be modified with upgrades for better efficiency. By proper adjustment, it can make work-piece at optimum welding position, attaining purpose of reducing labor intensity, improving, welding speed, guaranteeing welding quality.

In this application, the headstock and rails are bolted to the floor, and the tailstock slides along the rail through manual pushing.
